The Nature of Handmade Items

Thank you so much for ordering from The Irreverent Crafter. I am so excited to create something just for you. While I always strive to create things you’ll love, please be aware that your items are handmade and as such there may be small imperfections that won’t affect the overall quality of the final product.

Payment

  • For non-customized, ready-made items, payment in full is due at the time of purchase
  • For custom-made and/or personalized items, payment in full is due before work begins
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping costs which are payable at the same time as product payment.
  • Please note that depending on the method of payment you use, you may see references to “The Irreverent Crafter” or “Half Moon Ridge, LLC”. The official name of our company is “Half Moon Ridge, LLC dba The Irreverent Crafter”.

Returns/Refunds

  • Tumblers and personalized/custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. However, please contact The Irreverent Crafter if you have any issues.
  • Other items may be returned for refund within seven days of purchase. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. You will be refunded the purchase price and tax. Initial shipping is not refundable.

Design/Concepting

Inspiration items:

You are welcome to provide an inspiration item for the development of your product. However, it is not the practice of The Irreverent Crafter to duplicate the work of other artists or to imitate copyrighted/trademarked items unless I have purchased the appropriate license. (So, you’ll likely never see Disney or major sports teams and the like here.) Additionally, the nature of handmade items makes it nearly impossible to identically replicate previously-made items.

Concept/Design Changes:

Until the point The Irreverent Crafter begins actually working on your physical product, I allow up to three small design changes (such as change in font, color, text, etc.). Once I begin work, each design change may incur additional fees including fees for time and actual materials.

Customer Proofing/Approval

For custom-made and/or personalized items, The Irreverent Crafter will provide two proof points.

  • The first proof is a description of your request for your approval in writing (text, email). This request will include the product specs (including size, color(s) and design elements) as well as any text (including names, dates, etc.) that you would like to include on your product. Once approved in writing, The Irreverent Crafter, will begin work on your product.
  • The second proof is the actual product before it is finalized. For soft goods, this is before any vinyl/personalization is adhered permanently. For tumblers, this is before the first coat of epoxy is applied over any personalization elements. This proof must also be approved in writing (text, email)
  • As you’re reviewing your proofs, please be sure to review and confirm all spelling, names, dates, punctuation. In short, confirm that the proof appears exactly as you would like it to appear on your final product. When the final product matches your approved proofs, The Irreverent Crafter is not responsible for misspellings, other incorrect information or omissions.

Timing

Custom-made and/or personalized items currently take approximately 7-10 days to complete before shipment. Some larger and/or specialty orders may take longer to complete. The Irreverent Crafter will confirm completion time prior to purchase for items that fall outside of my current standard production window.

Non-customized/non-personalized, in stock items generally ship within three days of order.

Shipping

Please be sure to provide your correct shipping address. If you use Paypal or any form of payment that has a shipping address attached to it, please be sure that you confirm your shipping address within those applications before submitting payment. The Irreverent Crafter is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses.

All products are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) priority mail. A tracking number will be provided upon shipment. Most packages shipped via USPS arrive at their destination on time and without incident. However, once your products leave the custody of The Irreverent Crafter, you must contact the USPS for research and tracking.

Pick-up/Storage

If the Irreverent Crafter is not shipping your product, and unless previous arrangements have been made, you have seven days to pick up your product after the first notification that your product is ready. The Irreverent Crafter will attempt to contact you up to three times for pick-up. If you have not arranged for pick-up within the seven-day window/three contact attempts, you may forfeit your product and no refund will be given.

Although The Irreverent Crafter is active on several social media channels, posting on those pages is not a guaranteed way to reach me. Please use one the methods above to ensure I get your message and am able to respond/help you promptly.

Tumbler Materials

  • I use Hogg tumblers unless otherwise noted on a specific product. Most Hogg products are stainless steel, double-walled, vacuum insulated and BPA-free.
  • Unless otherwise noted, I use Pro Marine Supplies Table Top Epoxy. When fully cured (which takes place prior to shipping to you), Pro Marine Epoxy is FDA compliant. If you have any questions or concerns about epoxy, you should visit Pro Marine’s website at promarinesupplies.com or speak to a medical professional.
  • Your tumbler may also contain a combination of the following products:
Mod Podge/Glue/Other adhesivesPigment dyes
Acrylic sealer Glitter
Spray paint/acrylic paint Fabric
Alcohol inks Permanent vinyl
Mica powders
